Anvil ratchet action secateurs. Carbon steel Teflon coated blades. Hardened, tempered precision ground blade. Aluminium handles with soft grips. Right or left handed use. Safety lock. 4 short cuts for effortless pruning up to 19mm thick. For light and small stems, will cut in one go. Overall size 20.5cms from end of handle to tip of anvil cutters. Weighs 225grms. Slide the branch to be pruned firmly under the blade and close handle together without forcing them. Please note it is normal for the secateurs not to completely cut the branch in one closing of the handles. Allow the secateurs to return to the open handle position, so as to allow the pawl to engage with the next notch on the ratchet mechanism.You will hear a small click.
