Braided Sleeves – Flame Retardant

GREMFLEX® FR: Expandable sleeving with flame-retarded polyester monofilaments. This tubular braided sleeving is made of polyester PBT (Polybutylene terephtalate) monofilaments. The raw material used is treated with non-burning agents and the product is rated VO by the Underwriters’ Laboratories (under 1.6mm). Gremflex® FR increases cut-through and abrasion resistance of both dielectric and thermal insulation surfaces. This series should be used wherever flame resistance is required, for example: telecommunications, underground, aerospace, automotive industry, etc. With a resistance to most chemicals, Gremflex® FR can be used in hostile conditions. Its 1:2 expansion ratio enables it to cover bundles of cables very easily.
