As a UK-based, family-run injection moulding company, we’ve always believed that being an injection moulder doesn’t have to come at the cost of the planet. This feature captures our ongoing work to prove exactly that.
Sustainable Plastics in Action
The article explores some of our key projects, including the biodegradable drinks vessels we developed with major drinks brands. These break down in landfill and marine settings—leaving no microplastics behind.
We also collaborated with Campari Group to create premium drinkware using Limex, a material made from limestone. It’s strong, sustainable, and has a high-end finish.
Closing the Loop
Our in-house regrind facility helps us recycle waste plastic into usable material for new products. While it’s not suitable for food-grade items, it’s ideal for things like pet accessories and merchandise—turning waste into something new.
We’ve also explored unusual sources of recycled material, including ghost fishing gear and even recycled chewing gum, helping tackle waste in creative ways.
Beyond Plastics
Our sustainability efforts go beyond materials. Our solar panels, installed back in 2011, supply around 30% of our factory’s energy. And our experience in sectors like drinks and automotive is now opening doors in areas such as healthcare and electronics.
Looking Ahead
Being recognised by Green Sustainability Magazine is a great milestone—but for us, it’s just another step in the journey. We’re continuing to invest in new technology, expand our capabilities, and collaborate with partners who share our values.
