Attenuation ponds, balancing ponds and detention basins are a standard part of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) on new developments. They have to hold surface water during heavy rainfall and release it at a controlled rate, which means the lining has to be watertight, tough and able to cope with water levels rising and falling over and over again.

SealEco EPDM (Greenseal) is a synthetic rubber made by SealEco AB in Sweden, the same manufacturer that has supplied our Butyl for over 30 years. During production the rubber is vulcanised, which gives an elastic, chemically stable sheet that ages very little when exposed to UV, weather, earth, water and temperature extremes.

Every project is different, so we offer a prefabrication service that tailors the liner to the exact measurements of your site. Standard single sheet sizes include 30m x 60m and 40m x 45m, but we make plenty of bespoke sizes in between. You get a better fit, a quicker installation and far less waste going in the skip.
