National heat pump training centres

Go Geothermal’s national heat pump training centres provide plumbers and heating engineers with hands-on training and experience in the installation of air source heat pumps.

Centres in the North-East (Newton Aycliffe) and the Midlands (Worcester) are now open for bookings and further locations will be announced across the UK in 2024.

The centres are being established to meet rising demand from businesses and householders moving to renewable energy technology, as part of Government national zero carbon targets.

Plumbers/heating engineers will be shown how to install the CTC brand of air source heat pumps, which are exclusive to Go Geothermal in the UK.

At the end of the course, people will receive the nationally accredited Cert-ain Level 3 Award in the Installation & Maintenance of Heat Pumps.

“They are some of the most advanced and energy efficient heat pumps on the market and come with the guarantee of quality that products from Sweden are renowned for.”
