Foam Samples

New thermal conductivity apparatus from LaserComp Inc for testing materials from vacuum panels to stainless steel. and for foam samples and glass fibre mats upto 300mm thickness. From <50 mils liquid or a 50-60mm diameter solid polymer sample by 2 to 25mm thick up to 300mm square foam pieces by 10 to 100mm thick. (The BBA can test samples up to 300mm thickness and the NPL up to 200mm.) We can also measure the Tg (glass transition) of foams.
