The safety couplings GS are devices that combine the need of coaxial fit between two shafts with the capability to protect, at the same time, the transmission components linked through the coupling from temporary overloads. It is an assembly consisting of a standard torque limiter, a plate wheel serving as centre member and a chain sprocket.
