Dualscope FMP40 Coating Thickness Gauge - 100 Applications

The DUALSCOPE® FMP40 coating thickness measurement gauge is an easy-to-use coating thickness measurement and flexible data collection device. It has a bi-directional RS232 interface for connecting a printer or PC. Storage capacity is up to 10,000 measurements, grouped in up to 1,000 blocks with dynamic storage allocation capability. One hundred application memories are available for storage of calibrations and related measurement data. The DUALSCOPE® FMP40 also features a unique and easy-to-read, 60 x 30 mm (2.4" x 1.2") LCD display. The information packed display makes operation incomparably simple. Displayed information includes individual measurement data, measurement number, application number, block number, statistical data, Cp and Cpk, product specification limit violation, date, time, icons and symbols to indicate operation mode and settings, and two text lines for 16 alphanumeric or freely definable symbols per line to display data and operator prompts. Other features include an acoustic signal, battery or AC adapter power, and automatic shutdown four minutes after the last measurement for energy conservation. Using Fischer's ED10 Smart Probe, the FMP40 coating thickness gauge will automatically detect the base material and then apply the appropriate measurement method - eddy current or magnetic induction. The individual probe is automatically recognized. Application specific calibration parameters are stored in the probe, therefore the instruments are immediately ready to measure after connection of any probe.
