Firstpoint expands Client Account Management Team

The Firstpoint family continues to grow at a fast pace with our latest team member Andy Beaven joining us just last month as Client Account Support, now taking the team to 10 people in our Bristol-based office. Andy’s main role is to support our expanding Client Account Management team in helping to ensure that our clients’ needs are well looked after - from the moment an order is received, throughout its journey with us, all the way through to when the delivery is complete, and beyond!

According to Chris, Managing Director for Firstpoint, “As we continue to expand our range of services, combined with the ever-changing and increasingly complex EU trade rules, it's more important than ever that our clients have a point of contact to support them through their journey with us. Whether the client wants to make an urgent booking, check in on a delivery in progress, make a last-minute change, or simply get some advice on the latest import/export rules, we want to make their experience as simple as possible.”

Having spent the majority of his professional career in a Retail environment, it's no surprise that helping people is a key driver for Andy, and gives him a real sense of satisfaction.“His excellent customer service skills, gentle manner, and eagerness to learn and support his teammates make him the perfect addition to an already fantastic team” , says Duncan Wilmot, Operations Director.

Ready for the next step in his career and looking for a completely new challenge, Andy is extremely excited to join a fast-growing and dynamic organisation such as Firstpoint. Now 5 weeks into his new role Andy reports,

Always looking for that ‘something special’ in their staff, Firstpoint Directors, Duncan and Chris, immediately saw a certain ‘entrepreneurial spirit’ in new team member Andy. Known by many of his friends and family as a bit of a ‘Del Boy’, Andy has a real passion for seeking out bargains and finding value where other people don’t. So when he's not at work or spending time with his young family, you’ll often find Andy at his local car boot, or doing some wheeling and dealing on Ebay...all legit of course!
