Since the communication is two-way, users will be notified whether the system has received the key fob command. Accidental pressing? Not anymore The key fob features robust accidental press protection. It prevents false alarms by requiring deliberate actions to change settings. Users can choose either a long press or a double press to confirm commands. This way, security changes only happen when intended. This reduces errors and enhances overall reliability. Double press Long press Hardware behind the key fob Reliable control buttons Enhanced battery Silicon overlay on light indicators Ergonomic enclosure Unique wireless technology An Ajax system uses two-way secure radio communication based on the Jeweller proprietary protocol. It provides block cipher encryption and device authentication at each communication session with the hub to prevent sabotage, spoofing, or data theft. Stable operation at its best Ajax Superior SpaceControl Jeweller key fob offers an extended battery life of up to 5 years if used as intended. Even in challenging conditions, such as low light, weak cellular signal, or when the system is in battery-saving mode, the key fob remains fully operational, ensuring continuous control of the security system. This encryption deters intentional sabotage attempts on the key fob. Device authentication against spoofing The hub checks the key fobs unique parameters for authentication during each communication session. If any parameter fails the check, the hub ignores device commands. Data-rich notifications The Ajax system instantly delivers informative notifications of alarms and events. Security companies and users receive precise details about the incident, along with the time and location. Remote configuration With a single tap, the key fob connects to the hub through the mobile app and can be configured in Ajax apps for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.
