BIEMH proves perfect showcase for Filtermist

Filtermist oil mist collectors were visible on a large of machine tool stands at the BIEMH exhibition in Bilbao last week thanks to Spanish distributor Disheco. As well as the Disheco stand, Filtermist units were also on show on machines from manufacturers including FANUC, Mazak and Okuma. Brand Business Support Manager, Alison Green, who spent the week in Bilbao supporting Disheco comments, “The Disheco team did an absolutely fantastic job in the run up to the show by ensuring as many OEM customers as possible planned on including Filtermist oil mist extraction units on their stands. “Filtermist has worked closely with Disheco for many years, and we are very happy that the new Disheco owners are bringing renewed energy to our partnership. Working with OEMs is the best way of ensuring end-users are protected from exposure to potentially harmful mist particles and using effective extraction also helps to keep machine tools looking like new for longer. Some OEMs, including FANUC, actually specify that mist extraction should be fitted if the machine is not supplied with a filter as part of the package. “Spain is a key target market for Filtermist and the feedback from the show was really positive. It was fabulous to be at another European show following the disruption of the last two years - BIEMH was buzzing! “We are looking forward to seeing this continue at MetalMadrid 2022 later this year.”
