The Doulton Super Sterasyl cartridge offers the same bacteria filtration and bacteria growth inhibition as the standard Sterasyl candle but with the added benefit of granular activated carbon (GAC) for chlorine reduction that improves taste and removes odour. 10" British made ceramic filter candle with an absolute filtration rating (defined as >99.99%) of 0.9 microns and 3/4" / 19mm short mount. This filter candle is recommended to be changed every 6 months or 2,800 litres, whichever comes first.
