Bench type slat conveyors are installed on-floor to create the moving platform at an ergonomic height for assembly operations. Flush floor single slats can be supplied with pedestals to raise the load to an ergonomic height and allow operators free access around the load. Component location on the pedestal can be fixed, with turntables or tilting mechanisms.
