Fire Retardant Elastic

We have developed woven elastic products for use in aircraft interiors. These elastics are manufactured to meet the stringent standards of the CAA. (CAA/FAR/JAR/CS 25.853A which is a 15 second vertical flame burn test applied under specified temperature and humidity conditions) These items are usually woven and are made to order in widths commonly 15mm to 75mm, with 25mm (1") being the most popular. black is most commonly specified, but other colours can also be produced. Products made from each new batch of yarn are subject to first-off independant lab certification (usually Bureau Veritas) and customers products are supplied with certificates of conformity to provide batch traceability.
