This weathering steel join part, matching corten panel ranges, restores the connection — it screws to the cut end through pre-set guide holes, overlays the panel it is joining, and further screws fix both panels neatly together. Because it overlays the panel face, screw heads are visible on the outside of the bed, and two approaches work well. For a discreet finish, position the join in the least conspicuous spot and use zinc screws, which blend in as they rust over to match the developing corten patina. Alternatively, make a feature of it — add further join parts to create a deliberate pattern, or substitute polished bolt heads in place of the screws.
