The Straightcurve Flex raised garden bed kit in weathering steel, commonly known as corten, is a complete 2-piece system for building smoothly curved raised beds and borders 240mm high. The notched edge design bends into flowing curves and holds its position once shaped and installed, with precision-engineered joining flanges for a perfect fit and finish between panels, and 8mm rounded top edges that are child and pet friendly. The kit includes two Flex panels with an installed length of 2160mm each, ten 300mm fixing spikes, four 470mm ground anchor posts and a pack of twenty Dacromet Tek screws — everything needed for a quick, straightforward installation. Weathering steel arrives in a dark, almost black state; once installed, wash with warm soapy water to remove the protective coating and encourage an even, rust-toned protective patina to develop — this can take weeks or months depending on weather. Virtually maintenance free once established, and ideal for curved borders, organic layouts and naturalistic planting schemes. Also available in bright galvanised steel and as single panels.
