The Fortitude Classic Railing with 50mm posts and capping handrail is a pre-fabricated steel railing and balustrade system in a durable Black Sand powder-coated finish, designed for fast, weld-free installation on decks, patios, balconies, stairs, ramps and garden boundaries. Rigorously tested to BS 6180, this modular railing kit combines 50mm x 50mm posts with a 70mm x 45mm aluminium capping handrail to create a strong, stylish and virtually maintenance-free guardrail with a 1100mm finished rail height, suitable for residential projects in any environment. Unlike conventional metal railings that require expensive bespoke fabrication, Fortitude Classic railings install with no welding necessary. Each system is built from adaptable, ready-made components — fixed railing panels, an innovative adjustable raking panel, pre-drilled posts and smart bracket options — that can be taken straight to site and fitted the same day, drastically reducing installation time and cost. The unique adjustable raking panel fits any residential staircase up to a 40-degree pitch. Every fixing and infill bar is individually hinged, so the panel adjusts to the exact gradient between posts while concealing the pivot points of each spindle — ideal for railings on stairs and slopes without fabrication.
