Happy St. George’s Day

Happy St. George’s Day
23/04/2020

On or around the 23rd of April each year, England and countries worldwide celebrate St. George’s Day. This day is the embodiment of good versus evil, in the case of St. George, of killing a dragon and saving a princess. Never has this aged tale been more applicable to the current climate, when at 8 p.m. tonight we stand in our streets, and clap as a thank you to our brave Keyworkers working to beat the evil corona virus.

This new phenomena of celebrating our keyworkers has been adopted worldwide, and common man has come together to celebrate the brave efforts of those working to defeat this virus. This year, the celebration of St George may not be a priority, but recent events have highlighted more than ever how important it is to continue to work together.

Here at EWFM we are in contact with our UK and worldwide contacts every week just to emphasise that we are operational and here to assist. Just like St George, EWFM have a worldwide presence, and have product placement in all seven continents (yes even Antarctica!)

Some great examples of our Swivel Joints supplied around the world include:-

This 20” engineered swivel joint, made in Carbon with ANSI 150 Flanges, was sent to Singapore for use on a hose reel
