ESI-C Ventex Valve

NORMALLY CLOSED EXPLOSION BARRIER VALVE The VENTEX ESI-C Explosion Barrier Valve is a, normally closed, passive device used to prevent the propagation of flame and explosive pressures along pipes. A poppet is allowed to move freely along a central shaft in one direction. The poppet is pushed away from its seat by the flow of process air. If the air fails or the poppet is moved by the explosion pressure wave, the poppet is pushed hard against the valve seat, the flow of gas is blocked.
