This course is aligned with the requirements of IECEx OD 504 and is designed to provide an understanding on the principles of protection and the maintenance and inspection of electrical installations in or associated with explosive atmospheres based on the requirements of IEC 60079-14, IEC 60079-17 and other relevant standards of the IEC 60079 series.
There are no prerequisites for attending this course but a minimum of three years’ experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance practice is recommended.
