This course is aligned with the requirements of IECEx OD 504 and is designed to provide an understanding on the principles of protection and the selection, installation and electrical testing of equipment and wiring systems in or associated with explosive gas and dust atmospheres based on the requirements of IEC 60079-14 and other relevant standards of the IEC 60079 series.
There are no prerequisites for attending this course but a minimum of three years’ experience in industrial electrical installation practice is recommended.
