Gas Retention Dampers

These are manufactured for those instances where the building or enclosure in which the dampers are fitted will be flooded with fire extinguishant Gas. The construction of the dampers is similar to that of the standard motorised louvres mentioned above, except that maximum blade length for a single module is 1500mm with the blades linked at both ends and the unit fitted with side shims and a closed cell neoprene foam seal fitted to each blade. The Dampers have a 98% sealing efficiency retaining the extinguishant gas for up to 5 minutes or longer depending on individual installation.
