Levelflex M Endress+Hauser’s new Levelflex M provides guided radar level measurement in both solids and liquids. Perfect for use in silos and storage tanks, Levelflex M provides reliable level measurement of bulk solids, even during pneumatic filling when thick dust clouds can occur or in tall silos where other level devices fail. Levelflex M’s increased sensitivity means it can now be used for the measurement of plastic powder and granules. Levelflex M can also be installed in liquid level measurement applications, providing measurement integrity even in applications where foam or turbulent surfaces are commonplace. Using a rod probe, Levelflex M provides reliable level measurement, for example in bypass and stilling well applications. The coaxial probe option provides accurate level measurement in applications with a low dielectric constant. For accurate and reliable continuous level measurement in demanding applications, Endress+Hauser’s Levelflex M guided radar device offers a high temperature and high pressure version for processes with temperatures up to 400°C and pressures up to 400 bar. It is ideal for the rigours of the petrochemical and oil & gas industries for use in separators and other areas where extreme process conditions are encountered. The Levelflex M range now includes a PTFE-coated probe for corrosive liquids, ensuring a long operating life and minimal downtime. The probe is constructed using FDA-listed materials and complies with the stringent hygiene requirements placed on the food applications and pharmaceutical industries. Levelflex M offers a uniform approach offering swift and simple step-by-step commissioning via its 4-line alphanumeric display. It comes with the free Time of Flight software tool (ToF Tool) for simple commissioning, online help functions, event-controlled diagnosis and extended linearisation functions, such as automatic tank volume calculation. Available in 2 or 4-wire versions, Levelflex M comes with all state-of-the-art protocols such as HART, PROFIBUS and FOUNDATION Fieldbus allowing simple integration into existing systems.
