EKT obtains coveted IATF 16949 automotive certification

ElringKlinger Kunststofftechnik GmbH (EKT) has been awarded an important certification by IATF, the International Automotive Task Force. The IATF 16949 standard brings together existing general requirements pertaining to quality management systems in the (chiefly North American and European) automotive industry. “Around 30 percent of the more than 100 automotive manufacturers in existence follow these requirements of IATF members – including leading OEMs. With this in mind, we are proud to now be certified to this standard,” says EKT’s General Manager Raik Lüder.The IATF is a working group comprising major automotive manufacturers and their suppliers with the aim of harmonizing QM methods and standards introduced at national level.
