DECAN S2 gets a makeover and out comes the Hanwha DECAN S2 PLUS

Elite 7 Installations has introduced the Hanwha DECAN S2 PLUS, an updated version of the DECAN S2 high-speed SMT pick-and-place machine.

The new model increases placement speed from 92,000 components per hour to 95,000 components per hour and adds a number of usability improvements. These include an improved PCB detection fibre sensor intended to handle boards with cut-outs and holes more effectively, a quieter vacuum pump and Position Teach supplied as standard.

The DECAN S2 PLUS also features a larger display monitor, while an electric feeder jig setter is now included as standard equipment. The changes are designed to build on the performance of the original DECAN S2 while making day-to-day operation and setup more convenient for electronics manufacturers.
