Hotwell tanks and degasses provide the facility to regulate the temperature of water fed to the boiler. cold water may cause thermal shock and structural damage to the boiler, whilst water which is to hot cause damage to the feed pump, leading to a loss of production which could prove costly to your business. Our Hotwells and Degassers are: Designed to customer specific requirements. Fabricated in both stainless and carbon steel. Single or double skin, fully funded storage tanks. Fabricated to 4m diameter by 20m long. Site built to 15m diameter x 15m high. Capacity to 2.5 million litres. Options for integral heating and cooling systems, electric or steam heating.
