The new System 100V contains controller's which are programmable with STEP7 from Siemens, as well as compact periphery modules (VIPA Block I/O) for the fieldbus system Profibus-DP. Beside of the internal SRAM/Flash-ROM, there is also a MMC card for data saving The programming can be made with WinPLC7 from VIPA or other available tools for STEP7 from Siemens In combination with WinPLC7, symbols, comments and projects can be saved on the MMC
