Since 1969, Dorsetware Ltd has been building experience, knowledge, know-how and expertise in the industry of metal finishing. 45 years later and Dorsetware is one of the leading electroplating companies in the South West and the UK. It all started with the Managing Director, who is also our Senior Plater, who has built the company on decades of experience in the field of electroplating. Since then, Dorsetware has continued to offer high quality metal finishing and electroplating. Our services have expanded over the years. A range of finishes are now available to suit any requirement, whether it is for the purpose of engineering and mechanics, or if it is just to change the appearance and visual aesthetics of products or goods. Our wide array of metal finishes have a variety of features and properties that make them ideal for different applications. For example, bright acid tin plating is often used in the electronics industries because of tin’s ability to conduct electricity well and for its ability to be soldered. On the other hand, Dorsetware offers chrome plating which is primarily used as a decorative and visual finish on objects such as car parts. Whether meeting the requirements of businesses or satisfying private projects, Dorsetware has continued to be a great service provider for both large and small scale demands. We’ve progressed in terms of pioneering technology too. Our units contain state of the art equipment that produces the highest quality finishes, leaving no room for error with unrivalled results. Our facilities lies in Hamworthy, a small suburb within Poole where we’re able to carry out all of our metal finishings in an industrial park on Dawkins Road.
