Looking Back, Moving Forward – Celebrating Achievements as We Begin a New Year!

As we step into the new year, we are proud to reflect on the milestones and achievements that made 2025 such a successful year for Diamond Electronics. From operational excellence and certification milestones to team recognition and celebrations, the year demonstrated our continued commitment to quality, sustainability, and people.

Operational Performance 

Our team achieved an average kitting line accuracy of over 99% this year.  An outstanding result which reflects the care, expertise and attention to detail across our operations. We’re not stopping there. In 2026 we are committed to raising the bar even further through better forecasting, stronger supplier coordination, and enhanced in‑process checks, to strengthen the reliability and consistency of our kitting services for customers.

Certification & Sustainability

In June 2025, we achieved ISO 14001 certification for environmental management. This internationally recognised certification demonstrates Diamond Electronics’ commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. We are proud to hold this certification, which showcases our sustainability initiatives, including our hybrid fleet and solar panels on our building that provide clean, green energy for our operations and the grid. 

Our ISO14001 certification was made possible by our 24/25 Business Intern, Rithik Kumar, whom Diamond Electronics was proud to support at the Lancaster University Management School Placement Student of the Year Awards, where he accepted a sustainability award and was shortlisted for the Line Manager award. Supporting the development of young professionals remains a core part of our business values.

Long Service Awards 

While supporting the young people within Diamond Electronics, we also celebrated the amazing achievements of our long-service colleagues with an evening meal in October.  We celebrated the 25th anniversaries of Jane Hesketh and John Clarke from Sales and of Andrew Sparrow from our Warehouse, and the 10th anniversary of Jon Sparrow. We also celebrated the achievements of Steve Evans from our Group company, Diamond LED Lighting. These anniversaries highlight the experience and continuity which underpins the service we provide you.

JOSCAR 

As the evenings drew in and December rolled around, we celebrated becoming JOSCAR registered, a feat made possible by our Business Improvement and Quality Team, along with our 25/26 Business Intern, Sam Turnbull. Our commitment to serving the defence and aerospace sector is now streamlined, enabling us to demonstrate our robust quality processes and ESG performance, which places Diamond Electronics in the top 50% of suppliers on the register for ESG.

End Of Year Celebrations

We ended our year with a wonderful Christmas Dinner at our local country pub/restaurant.  Great food, lots of laughs, and a lovely chance for the whole team to unwind together.  As is the long-standing tradition at Diamond Electronics, all our 2025 new starters delivered impromptu speeches, adding plenty of humour to the day!
