Dani Alu UK has supplied and installed a Barrial M safety barrier system at a manufacturing facility in Maryport, Cumbria, to create clearly defined pedestrian routes alongside working machinery.
The fixed aluminium barrier separates personnel from operational equipment and helps mark safe access routes through the factory. Its posts are powder coated Purple Violet (RAL 4407), while the contrasting Traffic Yellow (RAL 1023) handrail makes the boundaries of the designated walkways easier to identify.
The installation was designed in line with the principles of BS EN ISO 14122-3 for permanent means of access to machinery. Barrial M's robust, modular construction allows it to be fitted within a working industrial environment while providing a consistent appearance.
The project demonstrates how the Barrial range can be used beyond rooftop and building-edge applications to support safe access and movement around manufacturing equipment.
