Immediate Life Support (ILS) Training Courses Suffolk

The aim of ILS (Immediate Life Support) is to train personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, safe defibrillation and simple airway management, allowing them to manage patients in cardiac arrest until the arrival of the emergency services or the cardiac team. The course looks at how to identify the causes and promote the prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest. You will learn how to recognise and treat a deteriorating patient using the ABCDE approach and undertake the skills of quality CPR and defibrillation. It will also cover simple airway manoeuvres and utilises non-technical skills. The courses fully meets the United Kingdom and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines and provides you with a certificate that is valid for 1 year.
