The ladder safety system from CSS Worksafe provides a means of securing a ladder to almost any vertical surface and preventing it from moving when in use. The ladder safety system provides a fall arrest system to protect workers from falls from heigh and a work positioning system that allows workers to use both hands for the task without compromising safety. Works with any EN 131 or BS 2037 Class 1 ladder of aluminium, wooden or GRP construction. Subjected to extensive laboratory and field testing the system is reliable and safe for users weighing up to 136kgs / 21½ stone / 300lbs. Supplied in a kit bag and weighing less than 5kgs the ladder safety system is easy to store and transport. The fall protection system is installed and the ladder secured from the ground, before climbing, ensuring user safety from the ground, up to the work position and back again. Taking only a minute or two to set up the system is quick to implement ensuring worker compliance. Extremely quick fall arrest ensures minimal loading. Typically less than 3k. N for a 136kg worker.
