Key features of the KNG series of DC link capacitors include: - Low ESR - Low ESL - Self-healing property - Long lifetime KNO Series – Snubber Capacitors Snubber capacitors are used in applications where high pulse loadings and high frequencies are presented. The purpose of the snubber capacitor is to eliminate voltage spikes which are caused by semiconductors or other devices. Applications for the KNO series include insulated gate bipolar transistor modules, AC/DC converters and inverters, uninterruptable power systems and power supplies. The range features rated capacitance of 5µF - 500µF with a tolerance of ±5% or ±10%, 250VAC, 330VAC, 480VAC rated AC voltage and an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C.
