An industry recognised range of tank alarms, as standard the overfill alarm is available as either a ~230v mains or 9v battery-operated device (also available in ~2v, ~24v & 110v built to order).Housed within a polycarbonate weatherproof enclosure both versions are suitable for installation in exposed locations.Suitable for all Diesel & Gas Oil installations. This device should not be used in a Hazardous area or for storage tanks filled with fuels that are handled near to, or above, their flashpoint.�Suitable for offset filling and remote locations where the tank vent cannot be seen from the fill point. To further enhance safe filling, we also recommend installing our Overfill Prevention Valve.The principle of operation is simple, a float operated sensor is fitted through the top of the storage tank and its depth can be adjusted to suit the requirements of each specific application. This sensor is connected to the alarm enclosure via a weatherproof signal cable (standard length 5m, additional lengths on request) and transmits the status of the tank to the alarm panel.The alarm is easy to install and simple to operate. A test function is installed to ensure the device is operational before filling.An 8 Amp rated volt free contact output is included which is suitable for remote signalling or valve closure.
