Immobiliser

The FSC-1266 Immobiliser provides controlled vehicle ignition using either a telematics system or an authorised Dallas key.

During normal operation, the vehicle’s telematics system sends a signal to activate or deactivate the internal relay. This allows the system to either permit or prevent the engine from starting.

As an override, an authorised Dallas key can be presented to the reader to enable vehicle ignition independently of the telematics input. To start the vehicle using the Dallas key, the key is held against the reader for approximately one second. This energises and latches the relay, allowing the engine to start.

The relay remains engaged until the primary ignition is switched off.

Each Dallas key can be programmed to work with multiple readers, allowing a single key to be used across several vehicles.
