New all-in-one electrochemical cell tunnel sensors

CODEL are pleased to announce two new tunnel cost effective sensors to the already exceptional range of road and rail tunnel monitors on offer. The TunnelTech 500 and 700 are have been designed from the ground up using our already vast experience and knowledge of tunnel monitoring and applying it with the very latest in sensing technology, electrochemical cells. Both new models include high performance CO, NO & NO2 measurements with the TunnelTech 700 having the added benefit of measuring visibility for a true all in one compact sensor. The NO2 measurement had significant consideration which resulted in both models featuring a market leading resolution of 10ppb and an accuracy of 100ppb. Having been developed completely from scratch, CODEL focused on implementing important foundation features based on feedback from engineers and installers out in the field. Both new models feature an easy mounting system as well as a new and improved alignment method for the TunnelTech 700. As both new models feature on board displays for viewing measurement data and for configuration there is no longer a requirement for extra laptops and communication equipment to be carried on site. Having utilised the latest electrochemical cell technology both new models feature no moving parts meaning reliability levels are very high and maintenance requirements are low. Both new models offer high resolutions measurements with a bi-directional RS485 Modbus protocol serial interface to the tunnel SCARDA system.
