SMART WATER LEAK ALARM: SLD-1

Introducing the new Smart Water Leak Alarm. This water leak detector uses both flow and sensor-based detection. Designed for small houses, flats, and apartments. Offering a hassle-free solution for both contractors and individuals seeking a reliable method for smart water leak detection. Can be used with the ‘Ewater’ app on your mobile phone to receive up to date notifications. Comes in two sizes – 22mm (3/4″) and 28mm (1″).

Integrated Flow and Sensor-Based Technology

The main alarm unit contains the valve and flow meter inside a waterproof housing. You install the smart water leak alarm to the mains incoming water pipe. This allows you to continuously monitor the water flow into your property. You can also position wireless sensor probes into the most vulnerable areas, such as kitchens and bathrooms. As soon as water comes into contact with these sensors, the main alarm panel will shut-off the mains water supply.

Advanced Flow Based Controls

You can change the settings manually by pressing the touch screen on the main alarm unit. Alternatively, you can use the ‘Ewater’ mobile phone app. This enables you to adjust:

• Volume (L): the amount of water in litres that will continuously flow before it triggers an alarm and shuts the valve.
• Time (min): the time allowed to continuously flow before an alarm is triggered.
• Max Flow (L/min): used to quickly detect large leaks, such as burst pipes.

Wireless Sensors

For added protection you can choose to add up to 7 wireless sensor probes around your property. These discrete and small probes have a battery life of up to 18 months. They can be placed up to 10m away from the main alarm unit without having to use wires. Ideal locations can be:

• Kitchen: Under the kickboard below taps, washing machines and dishwasher.
• Bathroom: behind the sink and toilet or underneath the bath/shower panel.
• Utility rooms: on the floor behind appliances.
• Loft: underneath pipework leading to water tank.
