Motorsport Noise Monitoring
Motorsport noise monitoring systems, such as drive-by noise measurement, are becoming increasingly vital as racing circuits are required to monitor, measure, and control the noise levels emitted into the surrounding environment. Static testing will often identify those vehicles that are well over the limit but it is often the case that rear-engined cars fail static testing whilst being amongst the quietest on the track, and vice versa for front-engined cars.
