RHS Chelsea Flower Show- Gardens to Watch!
Every year at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show there are some gardens that stand out as truly unique. This year is no exception. Take a look at some striking designs and be inspired
Bat Conservation Trust Nocturnal Garden
Designed by Melanie Hick
This quirky garden has been designed to encourage the eighteen species of bat in the UK into gardens. It has scented stocks and other well-chosen plants to encourage the insects bats like to hunt and eat. The design also has bat boxes for nesting.
At the centre of the space there is a dark water pool to sit beside and watch the acrobatic flight of any visiting bats.
There is a striking bat inspired sculpture by Tach Pollard at the back of the space to spread the awareness of the animal visitors that appear from dusk into gardens across the UK. A beautifully planted space to encourage people to create their own bat friendly garden at home.

The Seasalt Painted Garden
Designed by Lynn James.
This bold container garden zings with joy. The bright orange paint, contrasting with the emerald green and sky-blue planters, is reminiscent of a child’s packet of crayons and that is the thrill of it. Drenched in a rainbow of flowers, this small space whoops with happiness.

Designed with inspiration from St Ives, it’s a celebration of creativity and contemporary design. Based around an artist’s studio this space repurposes filing cabinets and relishes bold painting and ingenuity. With a modern sculpture to pull the planting together, this is a fun and jubilant compact garden.

This is easy to replicate in most gardens and patios and what a beautiful vista that would create to experience every day! No cool chic façade, just a passion for flowers, which is why we love it!

The Conservatory
Designed by Edward Parkinson and Byron Thomas

This houseplant studio is set in a conservatory, and it is full of interesting pots in an array of sizes and styles, each overflowing with opulent plants. This space is designed to cocoon you in foliage. With vining and large leafed house plants surrounding the desk to inspire creativity inside, with a potted country garden feel outside teaming with foxgloves, this is a plant lovers haven.

This design inspires people to find a planter they love and fill it with foliage!
