The advantage of a raised bookcase strip is that it has a low profile and fewer fixing holes per length which makes it an easier and a cost effective alternative to the traditional inlaid strip design. The strip has wide flanges which allows alternative fitting methods such as spot welding which in turn allows the strip to be installed within steel cabinets.
