Stop & Stay with adjustable external friction control

Stop & Stay gas springs are simple to fit with straightforward adjustment to resolve the correct level of support. Once fitted, finger tip control allows movement to any position necessary. The lock-nut is adjusted to suit the application’s weight (about a half turn), thereby applying a ‘stick-slip’ friction to the rod. Stop & Stay gas springs are most appropriate for lower production volumes or prototyping, where applications require customisation.
