Custom cable assemblies

Custom cable assemblies using the 3M™ Mini D Ribbon (MDR) system are now available from System Connections. With a pitch of 0.050 (1.27mm) the connector contact areas have a minimum of 30µ gold plating giving operating ratings of 1 Amp and 30 Volts at temperatures between -20 to +75°C. Available in 14, 20, 26, 36, 40, 50 and 68 ways these assemblies can be manufactured in M/M, F/F or M/F combinations complete with quick release clips. Optionally they can be terminated to other connector systems to meet customer requirements. The EMC shielded shell and foil/braid shielded paired cable ensure optimum protection of signal integrity
