It features a rotating blade, which precisely follows the contour of the cable, to ensure precise radial cutting of the cable jacket. Optionally, the part of the jacket that is required to be removed can be slit lengthwise whilst successfully extracting the cable. Once these slits have been made, the insulation can then be easily removed by hand.
