For customers wishing to move production of existing component lines to Brandauer, we offer a specialist tooling transfer / refurbishment service. The service is designed to help you achieve the transfer with the minimum of inconvenience and as little disruption to production as possible. All tool transfers start with the preparation of a professional tool status report. After this we can repair badly maintained or worn tooling as required, or alter it to meet the required specification.. We apply the same technical and engineering skill to the transfer and refurbishment of existing tooling as we do to the development of new tooling. This expertise in the development, production and maintenance of tooling is backed with the latest technology - including wire / EDM equipment fully integrated with CAD / CAM, and market-leading inspection systems with the latest digital toolmakers’ microscopes and Mitutoyo automated optical Quick Vision co-ordinate measuring machines.
