Butser Rubber’s “Special Product Division”(SPD) has been working very closely with suppliers, customers and partners over the last 12 months to become a market leader in the new world of Bio-fuel fuel system sealants. Bio fuels have a hiden danger that not every body is aware of. Exchanging regular pump fuel for Bio–fuel does have high risks. Many production cars do not have the correct compound of rubber seals to cope with the corrosive nature of the bio-fuel. As a result, fuel systems are starting to fail early. Butser Rubber Ltd has made a number of custom fuel sets for development, but is hoping to have a standard package/product in the future. Watch this space…
