BOC enlists Bubble to improve their IPX vacuum pump test facility

As a result of the success of the improvement work at Shoreham, BOC Edwards contracted Bubble Automation to modify their IPX pump test facility, to enable the new high performance EPX pump to be tested. This involved modifying the PLC and SCADA software to accept the new pump and its test variables, together with new test reports showing the status of these new tests. The system used Allen Bradley PLCs and Panelview HMIs, with data being saved and retrieved from an MMSQL database.
