Dscoop Edge Rockies opens in Denver

Over 1,000 HP digital print community members gather in Colorado to explore AI, innovation and industry leadership.

Dscoop, the user-driven community of HP Industrial Print customers and partners, has opened its annual Edge conference at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center near Denver, with more than 1,000 attendees taking part over three days.

The event features more than 40 presentations and panel discussions across multiple education tracks, with the majority led by Dscoop members. Sessions cover automation, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, workforce development and new approaches to sales and marketing, targeting company owners, executives, production managers, IT leaders and operators.

AI features prominently throughout the conference, from main-stage discussions to a redesigned AI Automation Hack-A-Thon, where operations leaders, IT professionals and executives are participating in hands-on sprints. A dedicated AI Pavilion within the Solutions Showcase offers live demonstrations covering workflow automation, predictive analytics, personalization and customer engagement.

HP is also making a new product introduction announcement at the event, alongside sharing innovations aimed at helping print businesses expand production capabilities and improve automation.

This year's conference reflects a generational shift, with 40 percent of attendees aged 44 or younger and more than 350 first-time participants. A new Dscoop-PGSF grant program is bringing students to the event to connect with industry leaders and explore career opportunities in print and packaging.

New leadership appointments were announced during the opening session, with Rachel Crowther, director of sales and marketing at Cober Solutions, stepping into the role of Americas chair. Rosemarie Breske Garvey, president of Blooming Color, and Devin Springston, president and CEO of Branded by Woods, joined Dscoop's global board.

'Edge is where people come to exchange ideas, learn from one another and recharge their optimism about the future of print,' said Brian Benson, CEO of Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions and 2026 Edge Rockies chair. 'There's an energy here that you simply don't find anywhere else.'

Peter van Teeseling, executive director of Dscoop, added that the gathering brings together all members of the HP ecosystem ready to share openly about what is working, what is not and where opportunities lie.

Edge Rockies runs through Tuesday, closing with the Dscoop Celebration Party.
