SAGLE, Idaho: Experts in motion feedback and control, Idaho-based Encoder Products Company is expanding its linear measurement series of encoders to include a high resolution, programmable, wheeled encoder designed for industrial motion control applications. The TRP Tru-TracPro measuring wheel system consists of a field programmable encoder, measuring wheel and spring-loaded torsion arm in an industrial mechanical package that is ready to integrate right out of the box.

The TRP Tru-TracPro field programmable incremental encoder integrates seamlessly into a system design without changing the wheel diameter/size nor existing system parameters. Its durable construction ensures reliable performance even in harsh environments, making it ideal for automation, packaging, printing, vision systems, material handling, and more.

Designed with the end-user and system integrator in mind, the TRP Tru-TracPro offers maximum flexibility. The reversible pivot shaft, quick-adjust spring torsion arm and variety of wheel finishes provide mechanical flexibility, while programmable resolution from 1 to 100,000 CPR/PPR and 40 unique waveforms allow for in-situ system tuning. With the ability to operate over a variety of surfaces at speeds up to 3,000 feet per minute, the TRP will precisely track position, velocity or distance for almost any application.
