Determining the lifetime of motors
Japanese group uses BINDER chambers for quality tests
The Japanese group MinebeaMitsumi operates a development center for electric motors in the German town of Villingen-Schwenningen. One of the center’s focal points is continuous testing of the quality of motors for hard drives, a process that involves 80 BINDER test chambers. The chambers can be used to determine the actual lifetime of a motor in just a short time.
