Christmas comes early for Bar Code Data neighbours!!

Christmas came early for local Bar Code Data neighbours as the company continues to help the immediate community by making a small token of our appreciation in providing gift vouchers for our close residents. With our business premises being on the periphery of a residential area Bar Code Data showed its appreciation for residents dealing with an influx of additional vehicles as the company continues to experience considerable growth, and also due to the relocation of staff following closure of our Macclesfield office. The idea to provide vouchers came from a recent, in-house Sustainability Council meeting at Bar Code Data whereby team members wanted to support the residents and help contribute as part of the company’s Social Values drive to aid the local community. Commenting on the initiative Managing Director Mike Jackson said “This is a small token of our appreciation for residents that sometimes have to put up with us noisy neighbours! We are respectful of our local community and during continued times of increased cost of living it was our way of hopefully supporting them during challenging times whilst saying thank you.” He went on to say ”We are more than merely a business in the area, we have a great team that wants to make a difference to the local community in whatever way we can. We have developed a culture at Bar Code Data whereby our people’s actions and positive contributions to those that are sometimes less fortunate puts something back into the community”. As part of its continued Social Values drive Bar Code Data has also supported other organisations in 2022 including donations to Mossley AFC, Downs Syndrome Cheshire, Rochdale Round Table and The Rawthey CIC Project which focuses on helping Armed Forces, Emergency Services and NHS personnel, current and retired.
